OpenEdx-hanzi (Chinese)

OpenEdXHanzi, an interactive Chinese dictionary and writing exercise using Lingua Libre recordings. Coded in HTML/CSS/JS by Yug and under open source (MIT license). Github, Online Web App.
Interface and use
➊ Lexical information: click the sinogram for the correct order and audio; pinyin pronunciation, definition, composition, etymology; sharing links.
➋ Writing pad: white area for practicing writing, an error will be followed by the correct suggestion.
➌ Writing/Audio: click to play correct writing order and audio.
➍ Audio: click to play audio.
➎ Erase: click to erase the writing pad.
➏ Colored sinograms: your level of mastery of a sinogram is saved in your browser.

GoldenDict

• Install: You can choose among the "Official Build" or the fork by a chinese developer called "Xiaoyifang".

If you choose the Official build: 1) Download the latest "Early Access Build" from the Official GitHub page. Then, simply run the .exe file.

The latest "Official Build" is very old (2019) and it lacks many new features. Instead of using the "Official" version, it is strongly recommended to use a Fork from Chinese Developer Xiao Yifang: https://github.com/xiaoyifang/goldendict/releases

On Xiaoyifang's Github website, go to the latest release and download the version suitable for your computer. It works on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Arch Linux users can install via "AUR Repository".

The Community support for the Official Build is absent. The original developer left the project. Fortunately, the fork by Xiaoyifang is actively developed and any question can be made on GitHub or a specific thread on FreeMDict Forum.
