Querying Lingua Libre
The sound library is structured in a Semantic Web database where all the recordings and their metadata are described.
Metadata structure
The metadata is updated every time recordings are added, and includes information on the background of the speaker (native language, location at time of recording, etc.) as well as the links to the recordings themselves on Wikimedia Commons.
The data model follows the same principles as those of Wikidata.
